Welcome to my web site. My name is Chris Hudson and I am a self-employed driver trainer based in Carlisle. I am passionate about driving standards and road safety issues, having served for 30 years as a police officer with Cumbria Constabulary. During this service I was an operational traffic patrol officer for 10 years, and for the final 11 years of my service I was a police advanced driving instructor.

I retired from my police career as head of the driver training department at police headquarters, where I was responsible for all driver training to all police and civilian/support staff. Please read my Training History & Qualifications
